French independent firm UGGC & Associés has launched a series of offices in China, taking over the Asia practice of fellow French firm Adamas.
UGGC will take control of the Shanghai, Taiwan and Beijing offices of Adamas, boosting its partnership with five new recruits in the process.
Joining UGGC after the handover are Beijing partners Alina Quach and Franck Desevedavy, Shanghai partners Arnaud Depierrefeu and Olivier Dubuis, as well as Olivier Lefébure, who will run the Asia desk in the Paris headquarters. Desevedavy is admitted to the Taipei bar and will be responsible for the Taiwan office.
The move gives UGGC a total of 33 partners and more than 150 lawyers, of whom a third work abroad.
