Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge has promoted two partners in London in a five-strong annual promotions round.
John Lloyd has been made up in the firm’s IP practice - bringing the number of IP partners in London to seven - and Antonio Suarez-Martinez becomes a partner in the commercial litigation team. The firm also made up LeeAnn Baker (Boston, real estate), Louis Mercedes (Boston, business law) and Marc Voses (New York, insurance).
London managing partner Laurence Harris said: “John and Tony have earned admission to our partnership through hard work and dedication to exemplary client service. We’re very pleased to recognise their efforts, and they’ll continue to make invaluable contributions to our growing practice in the UK.”
The London office made a number of hires in 2010 including the former head of Squire Sanders and Dempsey’s London litigation team Rod Cowper, and the co-head of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s global insurance and reinsurance disputes practice Francis Mackie.
