Tulkinghorn would like to congratulate the Law Society's commerce and industry (C&I) group for the splendid dinner it hosted at Café Royal last Thursday. But a special congratulation goes to the Solicitor General Harriet Harman QC MP, who abandoned an emergency constituency meeting on Iraq to grace the event.
Tulkinghorn, though, was a little disappointed when he met Ann Page, chair of the C&I group, as contrary to popular opinion she looks nothing like Anne Robinson. But much to Tulkinghorn's surprise, Page confessed that after being likened to the infamous game show host in Tulkinghorn's own pages last year, she immediately dyed her hair from red to blonde. Tulkinghorn is now wondering if he can get a job with Trinny and Susannah.
