Turkey's Bener bolsters litigation team with Yapi Kredi Sigorta hire

Turkish independent Bener Law Office has appointed its ninth partner, promoting Sezai Sur to be head of litigation.

Sur joined Bener from Turkish insurer Yapi Kredi Sigorta five years ago and has now been made up to partner.

The move follows Bener’s recent acquisition of four-lawyer litigation boutique Küçük & Küçük Law Firm (2 December 2011). Litigation is an area of strategic growth for the firm.

Bener is currently advising on a number of large cases both in Turkey and internationally.
