Trowers & Hamlins is moving its London headquarters from Tower Hill to 3 Bunhill Row next year, a site previously occupied as a secondary office by Linklaters.
The firm also opened a new office in Birmingham on 1 July, and has offices in Manchester, Exeter and five in the Middle East.
Managing partner Jonathan Adlington said Trowers had finalised legal agreements and would move to the new site, previously used by Linklaters’ business services staff, next year.
The firm’s current lease at Sceptre Court, Tower Hill, expires in early 2013.
“This is the biggest thing we’ve done for the past 10 years,” Adlington said. “The firm’s grown significantly since our move to Tower Hill in 1998 and we look forward to the future at Bunhill Row and the opportunities it’ll bring for us and for our clients.”
Adlington said the firm looked at landmark buildings like the Shard at London Bridge and also Aldgate Towers before settling on the Bunhill Row site.
“Linklaters was looking to leave it and it’s the right size and already fitted out for lawyers,” he said.
