  • Trouble at t'bank?

    Excellent insight

    Trust is the issue

I think Barclays understand this market better than the other banks.

  • Let the Worm Turn

Many Law firms have been reticent about acting against Banks for fear such actions would damage their relationship.

I would respectfully suggest that said firms should now consider representing clients in actions against the Banks as this is certainly a huge market with good fee-earning capability (see Loancheck).

  • Trust???

At present banks don't trust each other, let alone their clients. If it's possible to develop a trusting relationship--which I think is farfetched--a law firm would be onto a winner. The problem is the banks don't know which of the 8 000 out of the 10 000 will be the survivors. And I doubt their present gambling skills (predictive) are that good. I would not like to be a bank manager who bet on one of the 2 000: "What...you trusted them?!"
