Trio picks up buyout of Partnership

Clyde & Co, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Travers Smith have been instructed in the private equity buyout of retirement solutions company Partnership. Freshfields corporate partner Adrian Maguire advised the buyer, Cinven, in a deal worth €200m (£157.78m). Clyde & Co represented the seller, Phoenix Equity Partners, through corporate partner Gary Thorpe. The PA management instructed Travers Smith and corporate partner Edmund Reed alongside tax partner Kathleen Russ.
