Congratulations are in order. For all you crazy fools that took part in The Lawyer Cup, part of the London Triathlon, the world's third-largest and the UK's biggest triathlon event. Tulkinghorn wonders why on earth anyone would want to swim 1.5km (in the Thames), run 10km and cycle 40km, but you did. Anyway, while none of you were able to outpace Simon Lessing, the five-times World Triathlon champion and winner of all four previous London Triathlons, you didn't do half bad. In The Lawyer Cup, third place was won by Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, in second was Mishcon de Reya, but in first place - a full six minutes clear in a total time of two hours and 24 minutes - was DLA. The Lawyer Group's own Paul Douglas came in 114th in the sprint event, ahead of colleagues Stephen Lai and Richard Baker.
