Travers Smith rescues Ntl

Travers Smith Braithwaite has helped to haul its favourite client Ntl out of Chaper 11 insolvency proceedings.
The telecoms giant came to an agreement last Friday that saw the bondholders take control of the re-organised company in return for abandoning their claims to US$10.9bn (£6.8bn) of debt. The bank debt was also restructured.
The Travers Smith team was led by Ntl relationship partner Spencer Summerfield.
