TLT Solicitors gains place on Interserve property panel

TLT solicitors has won a place on Interserve’s two-firm property support panel, replacing Eversheds, which opted not to tender.

Fellow South West firm Rickerbys has retained its place alongside TLT as asset management adviser to the support services and construction group.

TLT real estate partner Tim Rowe, who leads the Interserve relationship, said: “We’ve done some work for them in the past and we know a few of their people. They have quite a lot of properties so the legal spend on this is going to be significant.”

Interserve currently has a property portfolio numbering around 150 and brings in a global revenue of £1.9bn annually.

The company is understood to have asked Eversheds to re-tender for its property work but the firm declined, having been reappointed to a three-firm main panel.

Ashurst and Mills & Reeve were the other firms appointed to the main panel following a tender process in December 2009.

Linklaters and Wragge & Co are among the firms previously used by the construction company, but neither has a place on the most recent roster.
