Taylor Joynson Garrett (TJG) has confirmed that it is to take on three more partners from the almost-defunct Garretts
As first revealed in The Lawyer (29 April), TJG has been in talks with a number of Garretts partners and has now hired four, including three former department heads. The Garretts partners are former head of corporate David Roberts and corporate partner Andrew Smith, whose clients include British Airways and Chiesi Pharmaceuticals. Head of employment Sean Nesbitt, whose work has included advising British Airways and Crystal Palace FC, is also joining TJG. Last week, The Lawyer revealed that Keith Barnett, former Garretts head of property, whose clients include Warner Estate, London & Regional and Stannifer (13 May). TJG managing partner Gary Moss said: "The moves are extremely satisfying for all involved. As a result of Garretts' situation we were able to enter into discussions with senior lawyers whom we considered could add value and help us to develop key areas of our practice. "We look forward to welcoming them on board and to being able to benefit from the expertise and experience they will bring."
