Time to reassess the accountants

I think the time has come when we should start to take the accountancy firms seriously.

For too long we have treated their entry into the legal world as mere dabbling. We have seen their forays into our business as a distraction. "They aren't really law firms," we have assured ourselves.

But we can't say that any more. They have grown up and now deserve our respect as real players.

How do we know? Well, they've started poaching from each other.
