Time to ditch the LPC?

  • the LPC is expensive, doesnt guarantee a job and wasnt around some years ago. The professionals all seem to agree that it isnt as practical as actually getting the exprience in the firm. I am currently on the course, having conducted Paralegal experience before. I think it should be scrapped.

  • I am a qualified lawyer from Pakistan but not eligible for QLTS because Pakistan is currently not in a list of recognized jurisdiction, could anyone please advise what is the cheapest way to become a solicitor in the UK, I have contacted SRA but they say I have to complete GDL and LPC followed by 2 years training , but I cant afford to pay the college fee for GDL and LPC, is there anyother way by ILEX ?

  • the lpc,em !!take it and what do you get for your time , more paper work to add to your,,,,,,,,i,m trying to be a solicitor !!work hard play non, as all your brain can do is cram in all that you may have to remember,,on a exam,
    i,m 50, and just retaking up, the law to do testuments, of which i am finding hard,as everyone say,s we will help any qustions,!!! i ask, and no one gets back to you,LPC, for me is a block to were you want to be,
