Beachcroft Wansbroughs has made up three partners, all female, in its smallest round of promotions for three years.
The new partners are based in London and Leeds and see the firm strengthen some of its core practice areas.
In Beachcrofts' core insurance sector, London-based injury risk solicitor Paula Jefferson becomes a partner. She is joined by Suzanne Wharton, who practises professional risk out of Leeds. The third new partner is projects specialist Jane Staveley, who works from London.
In 2005 the firm made up five partners, two of whom were women, but with a similar practice area focus.
Beachcrofts has also promoted 19 assistants to the role of associate. They are spread across the firm's offices in London, Bristol, Leeds, Birm-ingham, Manchester and Winchester, and include five in the injury risk team, four employment lawyers and four commercial property lawyers. Just six of the 19 are male.
The firm now has more than 200 assistants and 119 associates.
