Thongs ain't what they used to be…

There are many ways to celebrate a good result in a bitter IP dispute. But according to IP boutique Powell Gilbert co-founder Tim Powell, donning a Borat-style mankini and running off to a beachside party in Israel is the only true way to mark the occasion in style.

Powell made the boffins at Israeli tech company Yeda Research and Development a fair bit of cash and they showed their appreciation with an invite to a Tel Aviv pool party. Always willing to impress a client, Powell said he "threatened to turn up in amankini". Tulkinghorn's scribe pressed him on the subject of mankini ownership and Powell did not back down, admitting to owning many mankinis of different colours.

Tulkinghorn is busy scrubbing his own bright yellow mankini in preparation for the Powell Gilbert press party.
