The Law Society hosts a public debate on the "secret soundings" system of appointing QCs and judges. The debate will be held at the Society's Chancery Lane headquarters on 23 November. BBC legal correspondent Joshua Rozenberg chairs the debate and speakers include Michael Mansfield QC, Andrew Dismore MP, Laura Cox QC, Dominic Grieve MP and solicitor Sara Leslie. Admission is free.
