What was your worst experience as a trainee?
Being in the litigation department for six months, where I found my second home - the photocopying room.
Where's the best place to go if you want to find out what's really going on in the office?
What time do you usually leave the office?
As soon as it's safe to do so.
What do you do at weekends?
Spend time with family and friends, go to the gym and, most importantly, kip in the afternoons.
What's your favourite restaurant?
Wagamama - it's virtually fat-free.
If you weren't a lawyer, what would you have been?
An actress or ballet dancer.
Who was your mentor or role model?
My father - and he still is.
What's the best thing about your job?
It's my hobby.
What's the toughest thing about your job?
Not having more than one pair of hands.
What's your biggest work/career mistake and what did you learn from it?
As a trainee, sending out an email in a rush to meet a deadline to the wrong person. There were two people with the same name in my outlook address book and I clicked on the wrong one. I think it's obvious what I learnt from it: don't be so hasty.
What car(s) do you drive?
A Honda Civic in the week. My husband's BMW 530i at the weekend.
What book are you currently reading?
The Take by Martina Cole.
What's on your CD player at the moment?
Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and Kate Bush's The Kick Inside.
