The US of A&O

US firms: they take our jobs, they take our partners, they take our associates. Just ask Clifford Chance, SJ Berwin, Freshfields and
Salans.

Having raided A&O for a Hamburg launch last week, two years after it snatched the magic circle firm’s entire Mannheim office, Quinn has taken A&O City arbitration duo Stephen Jagusch and Anthony Sinclair.

The moves say a lot about the UK’s role in the European legal market: Quinn says the hires will help out its Russian clients because their disputes are often arbitrated in London.
