The Thyssen saga continues

London is being eyed as a venue for the forthcoming replay of the Thyssen litigation.

`The marathon Bermudian trial to decide the future of Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza’s fortune collapsed in April after the judge quit following a wrangle over pay.`Now an English judge originally destined for the Court of Appeal is believed to be taking over the case.`In addition, the baron’s son, represented by Clifford Chance, is lobbying for the trial to move to London from Bermuda, where many City-based lawyers spent a large chunk of last year working on the case.`For full story see page 3
