A survey of in-house lawyers reveals that The Lawyer is by far the most widely read legal publication.
The survey of 700 lawyers at 200 in-house departments was conducted at the end of April by legal recruitment consultants, Garfield Robbins in association with The Lawyer.
It revealed that 85 per cent of in-house lawyers read The Lawyer.
Its nearest rival, In-house Lawyer, had a 40 per cent readership. All other legal publications fell between 10 and 35 per cent.
The survey focuses on in-house lawyers' salaries. Comprehensive results of the survey are revealed this week on pages 10 and 11.
The Lawyer is launching a series of In House Forums. The first will take place in the new year. Management consultants PricewaterhouseCoopers will be one of the major sponsors. For details call Julian Clark on 0171-970 4674.
