What was your first job?

Selling cuckoo clocks door-to-door in South Africa.

What was your first ever salary as a lawyer?

£2,001 per annum.

What would you have done if you hadn't become a lawyer?

Played more rugby.

Which law could you live without?

Aflatoxins in Nuts, Nut Products, Dried Figs and Dried Fig Products Regulations 1992.

What was your most embarrassing professional moment?

Being introduced to one of my partners by a client.

Mazda MX5 (when masquerading as a hairdresser), otherwise, BMW 525.

Any of my lady partners.

Be focused.

My ability to find my way home after a long evening.

Sleeping past my station after a long evening.
