  • I would pay good money to know where Yasmina's restaurant is, so I can avoid it. Her predilection for cheap quality is not so admirable in a restaurateur.

  • I was surprised Yasmina won as she didn't perform as consistently well as Kate but it's Suralan's decision and not mine.

  • Yasmina's restaurant is called Mya Lacarte in Caversham, Reading. I visited the restaurant a couple of times, well before The Apprentice and I can recommend it and see why it is has won an award. I must admit Yasmina has probably not helped the reputation of her restaurant by depicting in the catering tasks that cheap food is best, but her appearance on The Apprentice shouldn't do it any harm for those people who know how good the food is at the restaurant. Despite Yasmina's theory that cheap is best, the restaurant food is locally sourced and boasts one of the best menus I have seen. I am certainly no A A Gill, but the food is delicious, flavoursome, a bit pricey but value for money. Perhaps her brother is the boss in that department... who knows. By the way I have no connection to Yasmina, I just enjoy good food.
