Taylor Wessing’s real estate partner Christine Flion has been elected as the firm’s new Brussels managing partner.
She succeeds partner Marc Picat in the role, who will continue as head of the commercial and competition practice in Brussels.
The Brussels office of Taylor Wessing currently has four partners and six associates.
Flion said she intended the office to double in size within her three-year term. “We’re negotiating with an IP partner for the time being, and for the rest we’ll develop each department with the associates. The idea is to grow but not too quickly.”
Flion has worked at the Brussels bar for 20 years, and previously spent several years working in London.
She will continue as Brussels head of real estate alongside her new managing partner position.
