Taylor Wessing advises Delfingen on the acquisition of Langendorf Textil and MBG

Taylor Wessing has advised Delfingen Industry on the acquisition of Langendorf Textil and its subsidiary MBG Techbelt Innovation. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

With the acquisition of the two companies with a combined turnover of more than €19m (£16m), Delfingen — an automotive supplier of protection systems, fluid transfer solutions and assembly technologies services — carries on its globalisation strategy while strengthening its presence towards German carmakers and automotive suppliers and while enriching its technical textile products range.

Langendorf specialises in the engineering and manufacturing of technical textile sleeving for the automotive, transport, industrial and environment markets. MBG specialises in the fast weaving process and the coating of tapes, belts, technical straps, cargo handling and personal protection equipment.

The Taylor Wessing team was co-led by Dr Christian Traichel (partner, corporate/M&A, Munich) and Alfred Fink (partner, corporate, Paris) and included Dr Kilian Friemel (employment), Dr Adrian Birnbach (real estate), Dr Martin Rothermel (commercial), Dieter Lang (environmental) and Dr Nicolai Wiegand (intellectual property), as well as Dr Timo Fahrion, Dr Rebekka Krause (both corporate), Dr Michael Kieffer (commercial) and Lukas Müller (employment).
