  • It goes so far beyond or being able to distinguish between evasion and avoidance! What we are seeing here is a huge Orwellian indoctrination of children to become active and committed proponents of the state and it's aims. They want to create a generation whose moral compass leads them to assume that anything said or done in the defiance of the state is evil and morally repugnant. I don't disagree, children ought to be taught about the morality of taxation. But what about the non-aggression principle? What about Mises and Rothbard? If this is to be done properly, it would have to be balanced; and under a state curriculum it inevitably won't be.

  • At the risk of infringing Godwin's Law, 'm pretty sure this type of thing was taught in the Hitler Youth. If this is where we are as a country we need a serious clear out in Parliament and Whitehall.
