Until now Hendy was best known for spending spare moments between cases penning lengthy diatribes for The Morning Star.
However, now he has become far more active. Yesterday, the head of Old Square Chambers began his 109km sponsored cycle ride through the foothills of Table Mountain around Cape Town on behalf of the Free Representation Unit in London and South Africa’s Legal Resources Centre.
