Switzerland's Froriep Renggli names new managing partner

Swiss firm Froriep Renggli has elected banking and finance partner Catrina Luchsinger Gähwiler as managing partner.
Luchsinger Gähwiler took over from Peter Merz at the start of the year. Merz, a corporate specialist, is returning to fee earning after 11 years as managing partner.
Luchsinger Gähwiler, who previously headed the firm’s Zurich banking and finance practice, joined Froriep Renggli in 2000. As managing partner she will particularly focus on the recruitment and retention of talent.
The term of office for managing partner is three years. Luchsinger Gähwiler’s election was uncontested.
Froriep Renggli employs over 80 lawyers in offices across Switzerland, as well as in London and Madrid.
