Tulkinghorn's heart was warmed to hear that Bridgepoint Capital has reunited Gibson Dunn & Crutcher's Nicholas Aleksander with his former trainee Charles Barter on the private equity house's investment into Virgin Active. Just in case Aleksander thought he might have put his past behind him, having left Travers Smith more than a year ago, up pops a management team wanting his services.
