Stones’ figures on the up after rejig

South West firm Stones Solicitors’ year of reorganisation, during which it closed its under-performing Sidmouth office, saw its turnover inch up by £100,000 to £7.9m.

Stones’ five other offices in the South West all experienced steady growth, while its niche travel and commercial property groups saw revenue shoot up.

In November the firm rejigged its management structure, with partner Paul Keeling handed the newly created role of chief executive while senior partner Hugh Winterbotham and managing partner Bronwen Courtenay-Stamp returned to full-time fee-earning.
