Stewarts Law bolsters employment team with hire of RJW partner

Litigation firm Stewarts Law has further expanded its employment practice through the appointment of Russell Jones & Walker partner Arpita Dutt.

Dutt has a particular focus on discrimination and whistle blowing cases and was one of a handful of employment lawyers listed in The Lawyer Hot 100 2011.
Stewarts Law launched its employment practice in May 2010 through the hire of Lewis Silkin partner Gareth Brahams, who was brought in to build the group (3 May 2010).
Since then the firm has hit Simmons & Simmons for associate Tim Spillane who joined as partner, Berwin Leighton Paisner for associate Ruth Badrick, Slaughter and May for associate Lauren Sullivan and Travers Smith for solicitor Alistair French.
Brahams said: “Our objective is to build a leading employment litigation practice in London, especially on the claimant side, comprised of the best employment lawyers. Judging by the calibre of cases we attract, we’ve already made excellent progress.”
