Stephensons bags sixth finance partner in a year with Lovells raid

Stephenson Harwood has hiked its banking and asset finance capabilities with the hire of Lovells partner David Lacey as head of non-contentious trade finance.

Lacey, a Lovells partner since 2000 specialising in trade finance, is the sixth partner appointment to the group this year.

His hire comes shortly after Asheesh Das, formerly with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, was made a partner in the firm's Singapore office.

Over the last three years the banking and asset finance group has increased its fee income by more than 140 per cent, pushing gross revenue to £10.9m in London for the last financial year.
