Steeles poach Eversheds partner for launch of inquiries practice

Steeles has launched a specialist inquiry and investigations practice, with the hire of Eversheds litigation partner Charles Holloway.

The former head of litigation for Eversheds in the East of England joined Steeles on 1 June. He will divide his time between the firm’s Norwich and London offices.

While at Eversheds, Holloway advised on a range of high profile public inquiries including Bloody Sunday and Harold Shipman.

The new team will be run out of the commercial group, advising on investigations into fraud, product liability, discrimination and harrassment, health and safety breaches, business sales and purchases and environmental disasters.

Investigations conducted by the group will have the advantage of being covered by legal professional privilege.
