Brussels firm Stanbrook & Hooper is taking a name partner from niche firm Kemmler Rapp Böhlke Crosby to boost its EU law practice.
Scott Crosby, who has been a partner at Kemmler Rapp for 20 years, has experience in a range of EU law work with a focus on governance.
He is well known for his work in the Court of First Instance calling for all committees to be open to public scrutiny, and for defending Frankfurt Airport in the airport ground handling case.
Crosby says: "The legal services market is changing and I felt that I needed to be in a larger and broader-based firm."
Stanbrook & Hooper specialises in European Union law, particularly competition and international trade. Founded by English barristers, it now has nine partners in Belgium and is headed by UK silk Clive Stanbrook QC.
Crosby's work also includes UK constitutional reform.
