Edward Ringrose, former general counsel of WorldCom in Asia Pacific, joins Squire Sanders in Hong Kong
US firm Squire Sanders & Dempsey has taken on the former general counsel of WorldCom in Asia Pacific. Edward Ringrose has joined the firms Hong Kong office and will concentrate on the telecoms sector. Co-managing partner of the Hong Kong office James Tsang said: Ringrose adds to the services provided and complements the quality counsel already received by our clients doing business in Asia. Ringrose oversaw all WorldComs legal and regulatory issues in Australia, India, China, Japan, Korea and Singapore until the company went into Chapter 11 insolvency in the US last year.
