Squire Sanders is poised to hire two construction partners from DLA Piper’s Birmingham office, one of whom is the group head for EMEA.
EMEA engineering and construction head Graeme Bradley, and fellow Birmingham partner Robert Norris are both set to join Squire Sanders’ Birmingham office and are understood to be bringing a team of lawyers with them.
DLA Piper and Squire Sanders are currently in talks over the team’s departure date.
Bradley advises on infrastructure, oil and gas plant, and power and process plant deals, as well as advising on contentious matters. Likewise Norris advises on contentious and non-contentious issues in civil, process and electrical engineering, as well as in building.
Squire Sanders already has around five construction partners in the UK, most of whom are based in London. Bradley and Norris will join Simon Bradley as construction partners in Squire Sanders’ Birmingham office. Bradley joined the firm from Clarke Wilmott in 2010.
