Squammonds promotes seven UK lawyers in 18-strong round

Squire Sanders Hammonds has announced its first round of partnership promotions since the merger between Hammonds and Squire Sanders & Dempsey in January 2011, promoting 18 lawyers.

Seven of the new partners are from the firm’s UK offices – five are based in London and two in Leeds. Four of the new partners are in Brussels, while one is in Madrid. The rest are spread across the US.

Three lawyers – Barbara Bolton Litten from West Palm Beach and Iain McPhie and Robert Stup from Washington DC – were made principals at the firm.

Seven of the new partners’ promotions took effect on 1 January, while the rest will take effect on 1 May.
