Tulkinghorn has just caught wind of a rather massive faux pas occurring at one of the US’s finest London-based firms.
A rather hapless paralegal was required to write an essay as part of his paralegal course. Unfortunately for him, the essay was centred on a judgment by the revered Lord Bingham, and naturally Bingham was referred to throughout.
All went well, until the poor bloke spell-checked the entire thing without double-checking the results. Tragically, ‘Lord Bingham’ was replaced by the less elegant and infinitely less impressive ‘Lord Pinhead’ throughout. Methinks the young lad now and forever has Bingham’s moniker indelibly imprinted upon his brain.
