For the second year in a row Speechly Bircham has doubled its internal promotions. It made one promotion in 2004-05, two in 2005-06 and four in 2006-07.
The corporate and private client groups were the biggest winners with two appointments apiece. Three laterals into IT, private client and the litigation departments in 2006-07 represented a slight reduction from the four hires made in both 2004-05 and 2005-06.
