Speechly Bircham has advised food maker GO3 on the launch of a healthy eating food range endorsed by David Beckham.
The firm advised on the development ;of ;the company, which is linked to frozen food maker Findus and financially supported by a Norwegian family.
The team was led by client partner Ian Timlin, who oversaw the legal advice for GO3 as well as advising on the licensing arrangements with Beckham.
IP, technology and commercial partner Alex Carter-Silk led on trademarks and registration, while corporate partner Andrew Clarke led on commercial documents.
“It was great to work on this product launch from inception,” said Timlin. “This covered registration of new trademarks, advising on supply and manufacturing agreements, negotiating licensing agreements to use David Beckham’s image, signature and likeness as well as putting in place the necessary corporate structure.”
Beckham was advised by his own legal team.

It tastes disgusting, I bought one of each, tried three and the rest is going in the bin...who taste-tested this, smokers!???
