The response to December's Asian tsunami appeal has of course been overwhelming, with the legal market well represented among the donators. In March another event will be held to raise money for a variety of charities relating to the disaster.
For one night only the cream of the legal market's considerable musical talent will assemble at The Spitz in Spitalfields to perform. The event will feature The Simkins Partnership partner and ace plank spanker Sal Mamujee, M-Law's bass supremo Matt Higdon and Birkett Long partner Simon Loome, also on four strings. Even Tulkinghorn himself will, it is rumoured, perform. There are also rumours of several celebrity client guest appearances, and of course it is all in a good cause, so once tickets go on sale it would be advisable to snap them up pronto.
The show is on 22 March. Tickets are available through The Spitz box office (020 7392 9032) or from Sal Mamujee (020 7907 3045).
