This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
The Solicitors Trust, the co-operative national press advertising campaign for solicitors, has signed up the Conquest legal network to promote the scheme.
Conquest, which has 250 members, has negotiated a 10 per cent discount off the standard u70 per week cost to join the Solicitors Trust advertising club, which intends to spend u10,000 a week in the broadsheet press to generate leads for legal firms.
The network has circulated details of the scheme and discount to all its members.
Steve Royal, sales and marketing director at the Solicitors Trust, says the number of firms which were signed up to the scheme at year end stood at just over 40.
Royal has set a target of signing up 150 firms before advertising begins, each of which will exclusively handle leads in their area.
Head of Conquest, Richard Berenson, says that this could prove to be a useful opportunity to firms wanting to expand their financial advice. "Our philosophy is based on co-operative efforts," he says.
