  • So Accutrainee have been going since late 2010 and they have secured TCs for 2 people that have been taken on afterwards? Call me cynical but this is hardly setting the world on fire. Clearly the traditional TC model works, which is why X thousands of graduates are successfully recruited each year. This model pays trainees less than what they would receive if they applied to the firms direct, and reduces their chances of being kept on.

  • Accutrainee works. Just about.

But compared to the traditional applications model, 2 NQs in the 3-4 years Accutrainee has operated, is like a deckchair on the Titanic.

Well done to Simon and Flora however!

  • Or perhaps the Legal industry is just slow to adapt to new innovations. It's easy to criticise from the sidelines, but I'd prefer to celebrate small successes and see where they lead. Every big success started out with small first steps.
