  • It is fantastic to see the rate at which 'aspiring solicitors' is growing.
Over the past year Chris has been integral to my success in getting a training contract. The amount of time he spent helping me to achieve my dream is astonishing. I cannot thank him enough.
I would advise any aspiring solicitors to get in contact- he is an invaluable resource!

  • Aspiring Solicitors has so much potential , and is on the way to bigger and better things, since speaking to Chris, i have found a new confidence to help students from my University to gain as much satisfaction with their degree, today i will proudly promote Aspiring Solicitors for all 2nd year students, in today's lecture as Ambassador for Aspiring Solicitors(Bedfordshire University). Finally i believe working with Chris, i could also develop my ambitions and ideas which could not only impact my university but also have a domino effect with other universities! The future is bright with Aspiring Solicitors.

  • In a nutshell, the advice found on the Aspiring Solicitors' facebook page is easy to follow, straight talking advice which, as a law student determined to succeed, can really help you make the difference, or in fact, be the difference, when it comes to legal career planning, applications and interviews. And I know many of my fellow students feel just the same. So thank you!

  • This is such a fantastic initiative, particularly given how increasingly difficult it is for us students to enter the profession. My university careers centre has offered me general advice but there has been no one to go to to offer me personal tailored advice. There has also been no one that I can speak to who has worked directly in the profession and experienced the recruitment process. I want to become a solicitor but I have no contacts in the profession. I have therefore found it difficult to get advice on applying for training contracts and to gain work experience, which is now so crucial to gaining a training contract. This initiative will hopefully work to break down the barriers I have faced in trying to become a solicitor so that everyone has an equal opportunity.

  • I had been able to reach the interview stage for placements in my second and third years at university but it was only after I had spoken to Chris and put his advice into practice that I managed to convert interviews into vac schemes. Now I am fortunate enough to have a training contract at a global firm in the city to start in 2015. I would definitely recommend anyone at university considering a career in law to make the most of the opportunities this new programme offers.

  • The most important thing is that Aspiring Solicitors have personal approach to every student seeking advise. In terms of clarity and support it is outstanding. I would recommend every aspiring solicitor to get in touch.

  • As an aspiring solicitor myself, I must applaud his efforts. We have more below standard law students and less training contract. We are so focused on academics that we forget to be well rounded. Thanks Chris! I look forward to using your service.
