Does this mean that they are admitting that they were wrong with that decision, or does it just mean that the SNR side of the “two drunks” (described earlier) has more weight??? Reply Link Anonymous 5 January 2011 at 04:20 Denton’s closed its Asian offices in 2004, just as things we’re starting to boom (following the late 90s Asian crisis). It kept only 3 lawyers of what must have been nearly 100 and let go all of the support staff. Then in 2008 they reopend Singapore (just in time for the global financial crisis). I struggle to see what Brandt Chan & Partners gain from joining SNRD that they would not have had with Squire – there is nolonger any DWS brand loyalty in Asia.
