Tulkinghorn has sent a few excitable scribes along to parties at Lovells in his time, and has always been impressed by their reports of great food and cocktails.
But apparently Tulkinghorn is not the only one to be enticed by the promise of tasty canapés, following the news that a number of uninvited guests broke into the Lovells IP conference in New York earlier this month for that very reason.
The event was hosted at Bonhams Auction house, which Tulkinghorn understands to be a swanky uptown venue, and the event was a success. But sadly the firm’s cachet was brought down a notch by a few hungry tourists, who had snuck in to scoff the lovely Lovells grub.
