Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has raided Linklaters to bolster its developing Hong Kong corporate finance and M&A capability.
Linklaters partner Dominic Tsun will join the US firm’s Hong Kong office from 1 November, as the second partner and co-head of the office’s new corporate finance and M&A practice, which was officially launched earlier this month (1 October).
He joins co-head of the group Nick Norris, who moved across from Simmons & Simmons in July 2005 to launch the corporate and capital markets practice. Norris was previously head of Simmons’ China corporate group.
The firm has also recently recruited eight other Hong Kong law qualified lawyers to form the core practice group. The hires bolster the firm’s Hong Kong office to 25 lawyers.
