Skadden prepares for Brazil launch

US firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom is set to launch an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Corporate partner Jonathan Bisgaier, a fluent Portugese speaker, will manage the new office working with Paul Schnell, the New York-based head of Skadden's Latin America practice.
Bisgaier has provided general corporate advice for a number of leading Latin American companies such as Grupo Vitro, Grupo Gigante and Jugos Del Valle.
Skadden executive partner Bob Sheehan said: "Our new base in Brazil will enable us to provide better service to our clients."
