Hogan & Hartson has taken a private equity partner from SJ Berwin’s Munich office to help grow the firm’s international private equity practice.
Uwe Steiniger joins Hogan & Hartson on Monday (10 July) after six years at SJ Berwin, where he was joint German managing partner and head of the German funds practice.
Hogan & Hartson’s German managing partner Gernod Meinel said that Steiniger’s hire will significantly increase the firm’s private equity and alternative investments business in Munich, Germany and internationally.
Steiniger focuses on private equity and venture capital but also has expertise in Islamic finance.
