SJ Berwin sees British Land through two large disposals

SJ Berwin has advised British Land on two multimillion-pound disposals. The firm advised British Land on the sale of BDO Stoy Hayward’s headquarters in Baker Street for £57.2m to the McAleer & Rushe Group, a major property development and construction company from Northern Ireland. It also advised the company on the sale of 10 Fleet Place, London EC4, to the CIT Group for £109.1m. Real estate partner Helen Willett led the SJ Berwin team advising on the sale of BDO Stoy Hayward’s headquarters. McAleer & Rushe Group was advised by Travers Smith Braithwaite. SJ Berwin real estate partners Jeff Smith and Lewis Myers advised on the Fleet Place sale.
