Nicholas Sinfield has become the latest Davies Arnold Cooper partner to quit the firm
Sinfield, the former head of the insurance services and corporate risk teams, has left, with no information about his employment whereabouts. Sinfield had been on sabbatical for the past two months. He indicated to the partnership that he wished to resign in order to pursue alternative career opportunities. After some discussion, it was agreed that he could leave with immediate effect. Executive partner Daniel Gowan said: "I'd like to take the opportunity of thanking Nick for his contribution to the practice over the years he's been here, and wish him all the best for the future." What that future holds is not exactly clear at the moment. Sinfield's departure is the third in less than six months, following the decision of partner Edward Smerdon and his senior assistant Simon Goldring to move to Reynolds Porter Chamberlain in February.
